Explore the reefs and seagrass beds in the Roatan Marine Park by getting in the water at Half Moon Bay for a great snorkel experience. A plethora of inhabitants of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef will entrance you with an orchestra of movement and form. Bring your own gear or rent from the Marine Park office or many of the other vendors offering snorkel rentals.

Recreational Opportunities Available
Swim throughout the bay and to the edge of the reef to see corals, gorgonians, reef fishes, lobsters, urchins and much more! Look closely in the seagrass beds for small fish and invertebrates in this protected area.

It is not recommended to snorkel here at night as visibility is too low for boats entering the bay.
