Actions taken to promote environmental or social sustainability

The Venue is proud to be a Hostel and Beach Bar focused on providing Island Adventures all the while minimizing our environmental impact. We provide our guests with the information about local cuisine that we know follow Responsible Seafood Guidelines.

In addition, all of our tours have an environmental focus, whether you are diving or snorkeling, kayaking or even fishing with us we make sure to follow the Marine Park regulations. We also organize beach clean ups that are incorporated into Kayak or Mangrove tours.

Saving water and electricity is important to us, so we invite our guests to be conscious of this and help us keep lights off and faucets closed.

Our main attraction is the Oyster Bed Lagoon because of the amazing bioluminescence that is produced by the plankton in the water. We offer kayak tours to explore this unique attraction, where you will earn all about these brilliant lights!

We hire local staff, and ensure they are properly trained to provide accurate information and be aware of the environmental challenges our island faces so we can contribute in a positive manner.
