Mr. Tucan Hotel has ten rooms located on the terrace of a new and modern building located right in the heart of West End, Roatan, facing the beautiful beach of Half Moon Bay.

Our rooms are distributed as follows:

Deluxe: Two rooms with an ocean view, private balcony and a queen bed, with a maximum capacity of two people.

Premium: Four single rooms. Each one has one queen bed with a maximum capacity of two people.

Standard: Four single rooms, each with one queen bed, and with a maximum capacity of two people.

All our rooms are equipped with new furniture, modern light fixtures, and lively decorations with tropical colors representative of the Caribbean atmosphere you will find in Roatan. Each one has its own private bathroom, ceiling fan, air conditioning unit, plasma TV with cable, Wi-Fi and safety deposit box.

Specialities and Highlights

We have the best location in all of West End, right in the middle of the strip, with an ocean front view of Haft Moon Bay, with quick and easy access to West Bay beach and other parts of the Island. In addition, the building has its own cafe / restaurant, private parking lot, and a souvenir / duty free shop on the bottom floor of the same complex.

Actions taken to promote environmental or social sustainability

  • Organize periodic beach cleanups with the staff.
  • Established a system in rooms to reduce the frequency of changing towels/linens.
  • Signage in hotel rooms/bathrooms to promote reduction in water and energy consumption.
  • Recycle plastic bottles and aluminum cans (in the process of setting up a proper recycling station with bins and their corresponding labels).
  • Toilet tanks have rocks inside to displace water and reduce water consumption.
