Welcome to Mayak Chocolates!
In a warm cultural setting located near the main entrance to West End, Roatan, we make our hand made chocolates from our most important ingredient, the Honduran cacao seed. When visitors arrive we provide them with a brief but very informative tour about cocoa, its roots in the Mayan civilization of Mesoamerica, its multiple health benefits, and its use as a raw material in the production of chocolate. Here you will learn all about the process of making this tasty food, from the fermentation and drying of cocoa, to the grinding and mixing, up until the final product is created and wrapped into its different presentations. And if that were not enough, at the end of the tour, everyone can enjoy a taste of our wide range of handmade chocolates, on the house.

Try our varied menu of products based on our flagship ingredient, cocoa. We have Hot Chocolate, Chocolate Ice Cream, Frozen Mocaccino, Crêpes, Chocolate Ice Cream, Cocoa Powder, Cocoa Nibs, Cocoa Butter, Cacao seeds and of course Coffee.
If you want something to satisfy your palate on the salty side, we recommend our Choripanes, Piadina Romagnola and Pizza.

Mayak Chocolates is committed to protecting the environment.
We are currently in the process of adopting new measures to minimize our impact on our natural resources.
This includes installing a recycling program where we will classify our waste by separating plastic cans and aluminum cans.
We are switching from plastic cups and plastic straws towards more environmentally friendly alternatives like cups and straws made from cardboard.
We have added a biodegradable detergent for washing our dishes.
