Blue Island Divers

Our business is centered around creating an "Experience" while in Roatan. Whether beginner or advanced, we accommodate your island trip.

Our site offers all opportunities for in or out of water activities. Our gear is new and maintained in excellent condition.

We can accommodate those guests who want more than just an excursion. We often utilize "split boats" meaning a few in your group snorkel, and a few are scuba divers. Don't worry if you want to be together during your trip; we can make it happen.

We utilize a PADI curriculum to instruct divers of ALL ages.

Actions taken to promote environmental or social sustainability

We are Silver members of the Roatan Marine Park.  Sales of the RMP tokens and bracelets allow guests to contribute to the sustainability of the RMP.  All our "activities" briefings for our guests include the proper conduct within the National Marine Park to lessen the amount of negative impact to our reef system.

We also utilize rain water collection for site usage.  Gear rinse buckets of water are repurposed to water the plants and trees on property.

A solar coiled tubing water heating system is in the plans to sustain hot water on site and remove the current electric water heater.  Recycling of plastic an aluminum are utilized on site.

All construction practices are designed to maintain an island style and presence. LED and fluorescent lighting is utilized throughout the property. We hope to soon begin restructuring the lighting to 12v LED with solar battery charging.
